The Band was originally started by Matt and Nate. It was
called The O'Beasts. Shawn was then added at bass. About
a month later, Tyler was then added at lead vocals. Tyler then
decided that the name had to be changed. The band agreed on
the name BackSeat Driver. They then realized that name was taken. The name was then
changed to artifice which means clever trick. They currently have a several songs of their own and the
number is growing. They cover songs from Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Starting Line, and Linkin Park.
